Rear Admiral John Jay Schieffelin Award for Excellence in Teaching for the 2021 Academic Year, Anthony “Musafa” Canan

The Schieffelin Award for Excellence in Teaching is given annually to an outstanding NPS instructor based on the results of a survey administered to current NPS students and recent graduates. The award is based on teaching in the previous calendar year; thus, the Schieffelin Award made this year will recognize superior teaching in CY 2021. The first Schieffelin Award was made in 1970, which makes this year the 53rd occasion for conferring this distinction
